Aircraft Turnaround Engineering (ATE)ATE holds a CASA CAR 30 for All DH8 types and F28-100. Established 1993 initially to complete overnight servicing in Cairns on the DH6 Twin Otter fleet that were operated by ARAQ on behalf on Australian Airlines. With the takeover of Australian Airlines (TN) by QANTAS (QF) the company expanded their operation to include the servicing, daily turnarounds which included Aircraft types DH6, SH6, DH8-100 types operated by Sunstate on behalf of QF. The growth of Sunstate and subsequent amalgamation of Southern and Eastern Airlines to now operate as Qantaslink, ATE provide line servicing and line rectifications to all QF DH8 200/300/ and Q400 type aircraft. Aircraft Turnaround Services (ATS)Established in 2000 to support the ATE operation, we currently service by way of support to several airlines namely Jetstar (JQ) A320, Airlines of Papua New Guinea (CG) DH8 100, Air Niugini (PX) F28-100 and DH8/300, Airfast Indonesia (PK) MD82 and Pionair on behalf of Barrier Aviation operating Convair pax and freighter type aircraft (CVY). Services to these carriers include Baggage services; ramp and toilet as well engineering requirements in the form of GPU, Air conditioning units, aircraft tow and push back requirements and headset commutations. GSE support workshop to facilitate Virgin/Aerocare/Cobham/ATE-ATS equipment. Currently checkin agents and turnarounds for Asia Pacific Airlines, operating to OTML Tabubil.
